by We here at Jaded Court strive very hard to combat nepotism (favoritism). Which means that everyone starts out at the same level and works their way up. Below you will find the rank names and what the requirements are for being promoted.
Seeker - Our Recruitment rank. Everyone will start out as a Seeker in order to get a feel for the guild, the guild role play, and the other members. There is no guild bank access for this rank. This is more or less a trial period to decide if you'd like to stay with The Jaded Court. You must be at this rank for a minimum of two weeks before being promoted.
IC Info: The seeker is one who has heard of the court and has taken the initial steps to join. Just like with any secret organization, Seekers have only had contact with a select few and do not know the entire scope of the court nor who all it's members are.
Initiate - This is our Initiate rank. This is the rank for those that wish to stay in The Jaded Court family. You have a small amount of guild bank access. This is mainly a Role Playing rank. The minimum stay in this rank is two weeks. To move past this rank, you must let anyone with the rank Lord, Consul, or Caliph know.
IC Info: This rank is for those that have begun their introduction into The Jaded Court. They are getting to know more and more of the members and some of the business dealings. For example, those contracts they are sent to fulfill or business dealings they are sent to conduct.
Friend - This the Junior Member rank for The Jaded Court. With this rank, a member is allowed more guild bank access. This is mainly a Role Playing Rank. The minimum stay in this rank is two weeks. To move past this rank, you must let anyone with the rank Lord, Consul, or Caliph know.
IC Info: This is the rank for those that have proven their worth to the Court and are given protection by the Court to the outside world.
Citizen - This is the Member rank for the Jaded Court. With this rank, a player is granted full membership rights. This is mainly a Role Playing rank. The minimum stay in this rank is one month. To move past this rank, you must let anyone with the rank Lord, Consul, or Caliph know.
IC info: Citizens of The Jaded Court are afforded full protection by the Caliph, Consul, and Lords. They know the majority of members and a good deal of what business dealings and contracts the Court deals in.
Steward - This is the Senior Member rank for the Jaded Court. With this rank, a member is allowed full guild bank access. This is mainly a Role Playing Rank. To move past this rank, you must let anyone with the rank Lord, Consul, or Caliph know and only if the position for Lord becomes available.
IC info: The Stewards of The Jaded Court are some of the most trusted and valued members of the Court. They are given the most sensitive of contracts and are more often afforded favors from the Caliph.
Lord - This is the Officer rank for The Jaded Court. With this rank comes the responsibility of recording guild notes, inviting new members, OOC and IC interviews, promotions, and helping with guild story arcs. This position is only available as the need arises. To move to this rank, you must let the other Lords, Consul, and Caliph know.
IC Info: The Lords of The Jaded Court are very powerful beings. Not only in their chosen specialties, but also because they have the full backing of the Court. They know the secrets of the Court and are trusted with most of the Court's dealings.
Consul - This is the Senior Officer rank for The Jaded Court. With this rank comes the responsibility of recording guild notes, inviting new members, OOC and IC interviews, promotions, demotions, removing members and helping with guild story arcs. This position is only available to those who have had the Lord rank. To move to this rank, you must let the other Consul and Caliph know.
